What you need to know about the Convergent, a new outsourcing company
Convergent’s headquarters are in Omaha, Nebraska, a city of 2.3 million people in the southern United States.
The company has offices in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Atlanta.
Convergent is owned by the same family that owns Connexion, another large outsourcing company that was acquired by Amazon.com.
Connexions Seattle and Los Angeles are the companies most well-known for outsourcing work, but Convergent offers a different service.
Convergenetics is the company’s new name for the Convergen family of companies.
Congenetics has its headquarters in San Francisco.
ConverGenetics, Inc., is one of the few large outsourcing companies to have raised capital, according to a report by The New York Times.
The Times report cited three sources familiar with the matter, and one of them said the company is expected to raise about $200 million, with the rest coming from its existing investors.
The new company will have about 50 employees, and its chief executive will be the former Connexional CEO, who was fired last month by Connexons Seattle-based parent company, Connexus.
ConGenetics will have no employees currently in Seattle.
It is unclear whether ConverGenetic is the same company as Connexent, which was acquired last year by Amazon, or a new company, but both companies have a convergent name.
The article also noted that ConGenGenetics had raised about $400 million from a series of private equity funds.
ConCom is a name for Convergent itself, and ConCom will be known as Convergenomics, if it goes public.
The New Yorker has a list of the five most-profitable outsourcing companies.
According to a 2016 report by S&P Global Market Intelligence, ConCom had raised $3.5 billion from private equity firms and venture capital firms.
The other four companies are all convergent.
